You need 4mm knitting needles and any dk thickness yarn to make these mini booties.

The booties in the photo were made with Rico Baby Classic and Rico Baby Classic Print (this is a cute multi coloured baby yarn).

Knitting Pattern For Mini Baby Booties Appliqués

With 4mm needles and double knitting/8 ply yarn, cast on 3 stitches.

Knit (in garter stitch) 4 rows.

At the beginning of the next row, cast on 3 stitches and then work, using only knit stitch, as follows:

Knit 1 row.

Knit 4, Knit 2 together (5 stitches remain on knitting needle).

Knit 2 rows.

Knit 2 together, knit 3 (4 stitches remain on knitting needle).

Cast off in knit and sew in the loose ends.
